This is one of the best strafe jump tutorials on youtube in my opinion. Posting this specifically for PetitMoose and Trashcanman, but I figure other people will find it useful too.

My pleasure. I looked through a ton of videos when I was learning to strafe and that was the only one that really made sense. It took me a lot of practice to get strafe jumping down. You can start your own server or use the command

/devmap mp_vacant

if you want to practice at vacant on your own.

I think the video linked in the original post does a better job of explaining the sequence of button presses and how to string it together with the mouse movement. Also, using those green boxes on mp_vacant to practice is great advice because getting immediate feedback on what works and what doesn't is important for learning it.
