server version 1.6 ??

Hello, trying to login into sc TDM HC Best Maps server now and it says server is version 1.6 now.

Anything regarding this ?

I've been out of it with a back injury and returned tonight to see that though the server indicated there were 30 of 40 available players playing, Version 1.6 was required. (I was running v1.525)

So I loaded the 1.6 patch and joined the server only to find that no one was online except me.

I noticed that when I logged into the ScareClan site I was listed as the only player on the server.

Can someone let me know what happened while I was off? I feel like I'm in the twilight zone.

I just finished rebuilding the server from scratch and it should be back up and running normal again. Thanks for your patience.

I see that access to the TDM server now requires v1.2. Does anyone know if there is a reliable way to uninstall the 1.6 patch without uninstalling the game?

My game CD is presently in storage and not available to me (most of our household affects, including my game CD, are now in a sea can in a container yard somewhere in anticipation of moving).

If you have access to teamspeak, I can help you, if I am not mistaken. The process requires editing your registry and it can be a tricky process. If you download teamspeak, I can change the patch you're on.

I will take you up on your generous offer, but I must wait until after I decide on and acquire a set of headphones for my new Win 8.1 gaming machine. In the interim I've resurrected my old Win 7 gaming machine, downloaded GameTracker and found I can access the TDM server through my Chrome browser. (It seems the server's 1.2 patch doesn't like my 1.2.13620 patch) If the short-term solution of using TeamSpeak on my Win 7 machine while we fix my 8.1 machine seems apparent, it is defeated by the fact that I employ a digital KVM between the two.

Why the hell did it even do that in the first place lol,,just out of blue, aye. I just want to play on our server ((((((

So what patch exactly does it require because it doesnt even show in my list anymore..

There is no patch it is fixed and back to normal... just type "/connect ip address of server" in the console and it will connect you to the game or when you do a search for servers and you can edit to choose whether they are full or empty etc click the box on bottom that says reset and then do a new search it should show up .

no i turned it back on

Server still doesnt show in my list, i reset my filter and still nothing, i did join manually, but still kinda lame lol, thanks for getting the server back up though!! I missed it alot actually lol..
