good thanks just been getting all my books for school and getting ready for school tommorow this year i am in year 10 so yay 2 more years of high school

busy getting the engine back together in my truck on my days off. Also working on a new helicopter, aT-rex 450 Pro FBLW 3GX

The truck is a 69 Chevy short bed w/4wd. Its a heavy 1/2 ton with the 6 bolt rims and a H/D TH-350. The engine is a forged 383 small block with Dart heads, Comp Cams cam, Edelbrock carb. Makes lots of torque. Truck is all restored both inside and out.

Is it a roller engine, hydraulic or solid.

The truck cam is just a flat tappet hydraulic. Its a COMP CS X4 262H-11. Lift is 0.462 (Int) and 0.480 (Exh) with 218 degrees of duration at 0.50.

The drag car has mechanial rollers in both the 396 and 427.

The truck engine was built to pull and it does that well!!

I had a 383 Roller motor in my Chevelle and a 427 in my 69 camaro both very good motors. The 396 rates in my top 5 of all time as well.

The 396 and 427 are both drag engines only. Neither one will run on the street as they require leaded fuel. The 396 is a 13.5:1 CR and runs on 110 octane, the 427 is a 15:1 CR and runs on 114 or 116 octane. Both are bored and stroked small blocks. The 396 is a GM 350 block while the 427 is Dart Little M. The 427 made 823 hp@5700 and 688 ft-lb@4900 with a modified 950 double pumper. With the 750 double pumper I run, it made 702hp@5300 and 612ft-lb@4600. I can't hook 800 hp up with 9 inch slicks and CAL-TRACS o I had to run the smaller carb to tone it down. One of these years I'll break something on the rear suspension and just suck it up and go to a 4 link and mini tub it so I can go to 10.5 in or 11 slick.
