| They have surely fixed it by now, but I had a ton of problems when I put an ASUS motherboard with a nVidia GPU. And I've heard that the i-5 doesn't agree with an ASUS motherboard either. Just wanted to let you know. | |

| The nVidia and ASUS problem was resolved from what people have told me, and from what others have told me, the ASUS board and the i5 processor is compatible because the ASUS board is a newer version. | |

That's a great cpu and it's cheap.
The gpu you choose is a good one, has good benchmarks.
