Thoughts on clan matches?

I was just wondering if sc has ever faced any other clans? Like is there any way we could start joining clan matches? I just thought that it would be fun and might add more competitive game play... Any thoughts?? Im not really sure how that kinda thing works...

I have tried to set a few up but there aren't many organized clans left on 1.0

I think RBL and zF are the main other clans on 1.0 (I think zF is associated somehow with clowns...). And RBL is based in Australia so a competition wouldn't exactly be fair since their ping is like 300 different from ours (if you think ping makes a difference. I do)

have we tried running matches just within the clan? Cuz that would be the next best thing.. idk jus thinkin

that would be cool. I bet there would be a way to do that.

I haven't played in two weeks since my windows OS decided to not work, but I just got all the new parts for my gaming build today. so hopefully by sunday I'll have had a chance to put my new pc together.

when I get back on, maybe we could talk more about it.

who would you want to have a match against? how would you want to do it?

I am all for going on an inhouse scrimmage, kind of like a concept called "pug or pugging". It's basically where there are 10 players in an snd format, and they knife there teammates 10 seconds into the round.. when one player on each side is left standing, those two are captains and whoever whens the knife fight between those two get the choice of either map or first pick.. they both end up captains though (people that can choose from the spectators). Then the map is picked if the other person picked "pick order" and they go from there, picking one at a time back-to-back. Like a draft.. until all 10 players are on a team. it's actually quite fun.

since it involves friendly fire, that would be on a promod server, right?

plus with promod you get knife round

that would be a WHOLE lot easier to do via promod, but it is possible to run that via a stock server(although promod makes it so much funner) in my opinion.

Man that would be awesome!!! we should def try to work somthin out! Cuz we could run different game modes to switch things around a bit.. and there are a few players on sc that i want to face in that setting.. XD

Even though i'm not technically in the clan, I think that a clan match would be awesome. Has anyone ever heard of the s*8 clan? They're a pretty big clan and i'm pretty good friends with one of the top admins. I could ask if anyone would like about setting up something. Though i'd hate to set up something i'm not exactly part of lol. Any thoughts on this anyone?

In a previous clan we had squads. We had Wolf, Falcon, Panther etc. We kept score on a match schedule.
They all tried, but Skynet was victorious!
